SunFile FL is a private document filing assistance service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or contracted by the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations, or any government agency.

Information We Collect

When you use our filing service, we collect information necessary to process your Florida Annual Report, including your business name, document number, registered agent details, principal address, mailing address, federal employer identification number (EIN), email address, and phone number. We also collect payment information, which is processed securely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to facilitate the filing of your Florida Annual Report with the Division of Corporations, to send you filing confirmation and related communications, and to respond to your support inquiries. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Payment Processing

All payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. SunFile FL does not store your card number or payment details for one-time filings. If you opt into the Registered Agent annual subscription service, your payment method is stored securely by Stripe for recurring billing purposes — SunFile FL does not have direct access to that information. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption to protect the transmission of your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your filing information for a period reasonably necessary to provide our services and comply with applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us at hello@sunfilefl.org.

Third-Party Services

Our service uses Stripe for payment processing and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for infrastructure. These providers have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.
